Here's hoping that Aussie groups are enjoying another year of hatting fun.

She remembers using these following pictures for the state pages when she first started. How things have changed!!

Hi Lovely Ladies.

Thank you all for your kind well-wishes.

Matilda has been celebrating her special milestone by creating another DVD of photos collected over the last 2 years, to add to the previous productions from 2005-08.

What a lot of fun has been had by Aussie hatters over that time.  The proof is certainly in those shots.

Warm regards - Annette

Hello there ladies..

Hope you are doing well...some Serendipities are joing Annabella on her Treasure Hunt this Saturday...should be a hoot..will give details as they come to hand..

Is anyone else having a problem with the 'Special EVENT/PROMOTIONS'...when I open it I can't scroll up or down ..maybe just a glitch on my puter.

Well I hope this finds you all well...and happily hatting

Happy, Happy Birthday Matilda.  We enjoy the same birthday month and years.  We are 5 years old this month and will be celebrating with a Roaring 20's theme.  We have a couple of skits and party favours for everyone.  It is pouring with rainjust now I just hope it is fine enough tomorrow to get inside without getting our hats or special "hairdos" wet.

We had an abosolute ball with Annabella's Treasure hunt.,.....she would have put a lot of hard work in to making up the clues...kept most of us guessing!!  Will send some pics to matilda....

Lorraine - more please on the treasure hunt.  How was it done.  I will pop over and see if there are any pics yet.  I am glad you had fun.  We really enjoyed our 5th birthday bash it sure was great to see all the girls take the roaring 20's to heart and dress up.

I just popped over and read about the treasure hunt and saw your pics.  What fun to join in with other Chapters.  I enjoyed a craft afternoon recently with another Chapter and we made bra bags.  I am now hooked on craft browsing op shops for bits and pieces.  Bought a belt for $2.00 with a lovely bling buckle.  I will use the buckle for something as the belt won't go around my waist.  Anyways its not red or purple. xx

Nettie....Ohh we have done the bra bag too and had such a fun filled afternoon!!  Am hoping to organise a Bra Hat craft day soon....

The Treasure Hunt was organised by Queen Annabella Rindercella, I am sure she is on here, and I am sure she will glady give you details about how she went about it...I will let her know that you were asking.

Hope you are well

Thank you Lorraine.  Bra bag making is so much fun and such a sense of achievement.  I hope you get to organise your day soon.  I am hoping to go to another.  Half the fun is coming up with bling in the op shop on something no-one else wants.

I will look forward to more on the Treasure Hunt although some ideas are coming to me.  Will have to think on that later.  Busy now organising a BMT for May.

Lorraine BMT is the Cancer Council's big fund raising thingy in May where groups, clubs, whatever hold a Morning Tea to raise money during that month for Cancer.  I am sure you have heard of it 'cos it is Australia wide.  Must be 'cos I shortened the name.  We have it every year even though we are into Funraising and not Fundraising, but we do have fun at our BMT's as well as raising a few funds towards the Cancer Council.  This year you can enter an outfit and parade it in our fashion parade, only trick is the whole outfit must cost less than $35.00.  Not much of a challenge really for us fervent op shop shoppers.
