   PRE - VALENTINES DAY PARTY AT NEWCASTLE, NSW


The Roving Rubies of the Central Coast cordially invites Red Hatters to join them at a special luncheon on 12th February at the Honeysuckle Hotel, the hotel that recently won the National Award for best food.
 

Roving Ruby member, Brenda (and past member of Honey Bees)’s son Shaun, is the manager of this hotel, so we will help them celebrate. Please ring Shaun to book in 02 49291499 and ask to be put with the red hat groups.

A VICTORIAN QUEENS COUNSEL WEEKEND GATHERING
WILL BE HELD ON 5th & 6th MAY at Mt ELIZA

 

                  The gathering will be hosted by Queen Travelot and The Down Under Scarlett Belles.

Commencing at 11am with discussion on Red Hat matters at the rear hall of the village Church, 93 Canadian Bay Road Mt Eliza.

1pm light lunch with tea or coffee served .

3 to 3.30pm Afternoon tea served.

3.30 to 5pm Continue discussion.

6.30 Meet at Steeples restaurant corner of Mornington/Tyabb roads and racecourse road for dinner.

Stroll along Main Street Mornington and view the lovely shops.

Visit the gallery or stroll through the beautiful Rose garden on Mornington? Tyabb Road.

The main event will be Afternoon Tea at the famous Bewley's on Grafton Street and there is an optional visit to the Gaiety Theatre in the evening for Riverdance.

Dress in your swirling poodle skirts, rock n roll outfits, pedal pushers or your Red Hat Colors and dance the night away to the music of Frankie Stevens and Derek Redfern. Theme is “Happy Days” but music will be a little more subtle (we can’t dance QUITE LIKE WE DID 40 YEARS AGO !!!! ) Sumptuous 3 course dinner served 50/50 basis. Drinks at bar prices. Raffles, games, table prizes, table gifts for you to take home.

Lots of fun and laughter combined with great music to be enjoyed with your red hat sisters.

This was such a huge success in 2017 with ladies making the most amazing red hats from placemats. For 2019 you will have the opportunity to make a “Cherry Blossom Hat” that you can show off at the Sunday Morning Breakfast

Numbers are limited to 60 for this free craft session, so please book early to secure your spot.  Only those who have a booking will be able to make a hat. 

Placemat, head band and glue guns supplied, please bring along any adornments you would like to add to your hat i.e. blossoms, chop sticks, origami, cranes etc.

DINNER AT TIFFANY’S   Dress in your favourite Audrey Hepburn   outfit, elegant, sophisticated style, and of course don’t forget your tiara or hat (black if you have one)
